Today was 60 degrees, the first warm day since Alex got his Driver's License.
After school, I talked him into going for a little bike ride to the firehouse parking lot and we spent about 20 minutes starting and stopping and just knocking the rust off (it's been months since he practiced) and things were going very well.
When we got back home, I jumped on my bike and Alex on his and we went out riding! From ENM to baker road, down past Suicide Bridge and up Cabin Creek road. Stopped and visited Poppop for a few minutes, then made our way back the way we had come.
Alex drove great! No stalling, no problems with corners, kept a good safety distance. Very well done.
No we are home and the bikes are in the shed and the chill is starting to fade, it's down to 40s now, and I am one proud father. Good times!
